Harry Cobden takes the ride this time – I’m hoping Harry gives him a positive ride, up with the pace, producing him down the home straight.
Both trainer and jockey have decent form over course and distance, and if they can get a clean round of jumping then he should be going very close for another win.

Summary: This is a great opportunity for LAKE TAKAPUNA to gain a quick double.
Raised 5lbs for winning at Ayr earlier in the month, however that shouldn’t stop him going in again. Watching his last race back, he looked to have more in the tank and cruised pasted the winning line.
Brian Hughes is booked for the ride again and having won previously on good ground, the conditions shouldn’t be a problem.
I’m hoping they copy the tactics from his last race, keeping him mid pack and pouncing, turning into the home straight for the win.

Summary: FORBEARING has been placed in his last 2 races and looks set for another big run.
I like the fact Sean Levey is booked again and is very capable of delivering a good ride on Forbearing tomorrow.
My only concern is the draw – coming out of stall 12 Sean will need to get him into a nice position, around mid pack just behind the leaders and hopefully finding a clear run on the run in.
With the concern of the draw, an each-way bet is definitely the way to go, just in case he gets caught out wide round the turns and ruining his chances.
