Summary: As soon as I saw LILY IN THE JUNGLE’S price, my initial thoughts were she was massively over priced at 28/1 for 4 places.
She has course and distance form, having won here twice back in 2022. She takes a drop in class here to a Class 6, having been racing in Class 4 & 5 this year.
She is now on a mark of 66, which is only 1lbs higher when winning here in August 2022.
She has done all her best running on good and good-to-firm ground, so conditions will be perfect for her.
I really like Phillip Kirby as a trainer and Billy Garritty is back on board (he was on board her for both the wins at Ripon last year).
