Tuesdays Racing Selections

Time: 14:10 Course: Brighton

Name: Big Time Maybe Advice: 1.00pt WIN (5/2 Most firms)

Form: 44331 Trainer: Phil McEntee Jockey:  Josephine Gordon

Summary: BIG TIME MAYBE is in great form at the moment, having won his last two races.

He won here a week ago and has been raised 4lbs for that. I don’t think that will stop him going in again.

Josephine Gordon is on aboard again and knows this horse well, having being ridden him in 5 of his last 6 races.

Fact: Phil McEntee has a 24% strike rate with his horses running under a penatly.

Time: 16:40 Course: Brighton

Name: Mister X Advice: 0.50pt EW (8/1 Bet365)

Form: 07719 Trainer: Stuart Williams Jockey: Luke Catton (5)

Summary: This is a great opportunity for MISTER X to record another victory.

Both Stuart Williams and Luke Catton have good form at the course, with Luke boasting a 42% win strike at Brighton.

Things will need to fall right for them coming out of stall 8, but if they can start smartly and keep up with the pace, then they should be going close for the win.

Time: 19:00 Course: Ballinrobe

Name: We’llhavewan Advice: 1.00pt WIN (7/2 SkyBet/William Hill/PaddyPower)

Form: P0P112 Trainer: Willie Mullins Jockey: Patrick Mullins

Summary: Willie Mullins sends WE’LLHAVEWAN to Ballinrobe for this Class 4 handicap.

He is returning from a small break, so trust is needed that he is fit for the race, but if anyone can get them ready first time out, WIllie Mullins definately can.

WIllie Mullin’s son, Patrick, takes the ride and hopefully can ride We’llhavewan for a decent win.

Time: 19:15 Course: Tipperary

Name: El Tesoro Advice: 1.00pt WIN (9/4 Bet365)

Form: 4653 Trainer: Donnacha O’Brien Jockey: Gavin Ryan

Time: 19:30 Course: Ballinrobe

Name: Arctic Ambition Advice: 2.00pt WIN (7/4 Most firms)

Form: 7032U41 Trainer: Gordon Elliott Jockey: D J Gilligan (7)

Summary: Not much to say about ARCTIC AMBITION; other than I think he wins easily, hence the 2.00pt win.

For newer group members, 2.00pts is the highest I post with my selections. As soon as I saw 7/4, my initial thoughts were that’s massive for his chances.

He has been raised 7lbs for winning last time out at Limerick but takes a slight drop in Class here into a Class 5.

The combination of Gordon Elliott and Danny Gilligan are in decent form recently and I can’t see it changing in this race.
